I usually never post a review, but this is nevessary. Upon arrival, the property was very clean and the staff was very courteous. The front desk check in was a bit hectic, however, very accommodating. The room appeared clean, but dated. Although the floor was mopped, it was very sticky, there were no wash cloths and only one hand/bath towel available for two guests, but It was quickly remedied upon request. Downside, we paid for a day bed by the pool but to our dismay the hotel double booked and we were unable to use it. When speaking to mngmt., we were first told, 'we do not handle the booking for pools', as if we made it up. We felt they should have been more accommodating, as we were paying guests. Eventually, after speaking with next level mngmt., we were promised a refund. The hotel caters more to the cruise line clientele, as they offer all of the amenities, as their paid guests cam enjoy, by purchasing a day pass so with that, paid guests have no first choice privilege and you are definitely overlooked. With the offered day pass, the paid guests miss out on what you look forward to enjoying. Over priced with extra hotel taxes, just not worth it.

Our room was overlooking the pickleball courts and while not the ocean it was still a nice view and a great room. The whole property was very clean and I was impressed with how clean the pools were. I loved that they give you a water bottle and have fill up stations throughout. Staff were beyond kind.

I had an ocean room view room. It was beautiful and anything we needed we got. Room service was top notch and room was always cleaned without waiting for anything. It didn’t take long for them to clean every day and went above and beyond!

Everything was too on the line service. I strongly recommend St Francis Resort. Clean room, staff very friendly, best beach view and breakfast really good.

I loved the ocean view from my room and the sound of the waves. I was extremely busy during my trip and wished I had had more time to relax on the room's porch. Island Beach vibe. Room could use a few minor updates but I was happy with it. The two things I wished for was- 1. A gate on the spiral staircase leading directly up my room's terrace from the main floor (Other guests walked up out of curiosity a few times and it was a bit uncomfortable) Perhaps a rope at the bottom of the stairs blocking entrance when guests occupy that room would be sufficient.2-3. an iron and more clothes hangars. I know its a tourist inn but sometimes even tourists are visiting with a greater mission. People complain about the stairs and there are a lot of them- But unless you have mobility issues more generally- after a day or two, you are fine.
